NEON FAQ

110v/220v Transformers:

Our Neon signs are built with transformers that utilize North American power standards. If you are located outside of North America and/or need a 220V transformer, please contact us.

LONGEVITY:

Neon signs have been the center of attention for over 100 years. With enough care they will last you a lifetime. The top three most common issues with Neon Signs are: Broken sections, Transformer Malfunctions, & Burnout.

FLICKERS WHEN TURNED ON & THEN TURNS OFF or MY SIGN TURNS ON BUT PARTS ARE DIMLY LIT:

This is caused by a broken or burned out section on a part of the sign. You will need to look closely to determine what area of your sign has cracked and replace that section. Secondary flickers are caused by burnout which is most common in older units that are used often.

SIGN NO LONGER LIGHTS UP ANYWHERE:

WARNING: DO NOT FUCK WITH ELECTRICITY. If you are not comfortable nor familiar with electronics, we STRONGLY recommend you bring it to an experienced Neon technician or electrician. It is possible that the Transformer is broken and will need to be replaced or a section of your artwork is shorting out the rest of the unit. If you’re feeling crafty, and understand the risks of electricity, yet still want to proceed, please reference this video on how to swap out your transformer. If you believe that your sign is not a transformer issue, please contact us so we can further assist.

PARTIALLY LIT SECTION:

A partially lit section will need to be replaced and remade as a crack has occurred somewhere on your unit. Please contact us regarding availability and the sales of spare parts.
